Nick, Sarah, and Eleanor

This night was PERFECT! The weather, the sky, the family… all so amazing!

I was a little alarmed when I first pulled up to our location. Typically, the location is full of beautiful trees, long grass that waves in the wind, and wild flowers growing in various places. But, on the day of the session, I pulled up and all of the grasses and flowers were gone! Everything was complete mud. Now, I have taken photos here at this time of year before... and I don’t recall it looking like this before!

So, I called Nick and Sarah and told them I was going to look around a little bit more. We ended up driving up the road and found this gorgeous location. I mean, how often is it that Illinois doesn’t just look completely flat?

We took these photos for Eleanor’s first birthday. HOW DANG CUTE IS SHE!!!! I cannot handle those teeth, that hair, and her beautiful eyes! I loved getting to hang out, play some music, chat, and take photos of Ellie, her beautiful mama, and her daddy. I took one class with Sarah at ICC years ago (though I can’t seem to remember what it was?), and it was so great to reconnect!
